Shawna Kleban

Dr. Shawna R. Kleban, M.D.

Dr. Shawna Kleban is a fellowship-trained board-eligible plastic surgeon specializing in aesthetic treatments of the face, breast, and body.

Dr. Kleban’s training has taken her from coast to coast and back again. Originally from Arizona, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Dr. Kleban attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Her studies then took her to Las Vegas where she completed her Plastic Surgery Residency. Dr. Kleban’s six-year residency training not only included aesthetic surgery, but also included complex breast reconstruction, facial trauma, and hand surgery. During her time in Las Vegas, she was recognized as an exemplary mentor, teacher, scholar, and surgeon. In her final year she rose to the level of Chief Resident.

Always wanting the best for her patients, Dr. Kleban elected to spend an additional year of training dedicated solely to the practice of aesthetic surgery. This decision brought Dr. Kleban to North Carolina and through the doors of HKB Cosmetic Surgery.
