Evolve: All-in-One Device for Radio Frequency Body Contouring

Do you have a certain part of your body that causes you to feel a little self-conscious? Perhaps an area where you have some stubborn flab or loose skin, and which diet and exercise just don’t seem to make an impact? For most of us, the answer is yes. These problem areas are common, and they can be more than a little frustrating.

One way to address these problem areas, without the need for surgical intervention, is to use radio frequency for body contouring. A new device called Evolve allows you to do just that. We’re pleased to offer Evolve radio frequency body contouring here at H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery and in this post, we’ll tell you everything you need to know.

What is Radio Frequency Body Contouring?

Let’s start at the beginning. When we say radio frequency, we’re talking about a very gentle, soft heat energy. Radio frequency can help target fat cells and stimulate collagen production, allowing you to remodel your skin and gain an altogether tauter, firmer, more streamlined appearance.

In other words, radio frequency body contouring allows you to lose those stubborn fat deposits without any pain, without the need for surgical intervention, and little-to-no downtime.

Body Contouring: Know Your Options

It’s worth noting that there are a number of options for those seeking body contouring, including three treatments that we offer at H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery. In addition to Evolve, there’s also CoolSculpting and EmSculpting. So, what distinguishes these three treatments?

The main distinction of Evolve radio frequency body contouring is that it’s a truly comprehensive option: In fact, Evolve offers three distinct applications within a single device. It’s the only body contouring device that can make that claim.

So, for example, CoolSculpting allows you to target and eliminate fat cells in your body (by freezing them), while EmSculpt treatment uses electrical pulses to tone your muscles. But only Evolve provides options to do both of these things, plus tighten loose skin. It’s truly an all-in-one solution.

Three Treatments in One

With that said, let’s take a minute to look more closely at the three treatments that Evolve offers. Keep in mind that you can choose just one of these treatments or have all three of them done simultaneously, just depending on your personal goals.

The three applications available are known as Evolve Tite, Evolve Trim, and Evolve Tone. Here’s more information about each one:

Evolve Tite

With Evolve Tite, you get the power of radio frequency energy to improve the appearance of superficial tissues. In other words, Evolve Tite allows you to remodel your skin, eliminating those areas where the skin is too “loose.”

Additional considerations for Evolve Tite include:

  • This treatment is typically recommended for the arms, thighs, and/or abdomen.
  • A single treatment will last somewhere between half an hour and one full hour.
  • We’ll usually recommend weekly treatments, lasting anywhere from three to six weeks.

Evolve Trim

Another option for our patients is Evolve Trim, which employs vacuum-assisted radio frequency energy to remove cellulite as well as subcutaneous fat. This allows for body contouring.

A few additional details include:

  • Evolve Trim is typically used to treat the abdomen, back, legs, thighs, buttocks, and/or arms.
  • A single treatment can last as little as 15 minutes, or as long as half an hour.
  • We’ll usually recommend weekly treatments, lasting anywhere from three to six weeks.

Evolve Tone

The final Evolve treatment to consider is Evolve Tone, which tones the muscles via electrical stimulation. Some additional details are as follows:

  • Most patients who choose Evolve Tone use it to treat their abdomen, flanks, and buttocks.
  • A single treatment should last between half an hour and 45 minutes.
  • For Evolve Tone patients, we’ll usually recommend four total treatments, spaced out over the course of two weeks.

Again, one of the primary benefits of Evolve is that it can offer all of these applications within a single device, which means our patients can choose to have Tite, Trim, and Tone all within a single visit to H/K/B/ Cosmetic Surgery. The all-inclusive nature is what distinguishes Evolve from other body contouring treatments.

What to Expect from Radio Frequency Body Contouring

If you’ve never had a treatment like Evolve before, it’s only natural to wonder what you can expect from the process.

First, it’s painless. Our patients often describe it as a “warm” sensation, but there shouldn’t be any discomfort. And if you do experience any pain, just tell your technician and they’ll make some adjustments.

Second, because there’s no pain involved, there’s also no need for anesthesia of any kind. The upshot of this is that you’re welcome to go back to your normal activities once your treatment concludes. You can even head straight back to work. There is little-to-no downtime or recovery period required.

One caveat we’ll offer to our patients is that, following a treatment, you may have some minor swelling, bruising, or pinkness at the treated area. That’s something to be aware of, though it typically subsides within a matter of hours.

Patients often want to know how long it will take before they start to see some results. Generally speaking, you should start to see significant results following your final treatment, with ongoing improvement for a few weeks or even a few months thereafter.

A final note about Evolve radio frequency for skin tightening and body contouring is that it’s not recommended for those who have active cases of eczema, psoriasis, or other skin disorders. If you’re concerned about whether or not you qualify, we welcome you to reach out to us and we’ll talk with you further.
