Start 2017 Feeling Great: Your Guide to Breast Augmentation

We don’t have a crystal ball, but we do have a feeling that 2017 is going to be a great year for you and your body. Start your year off with breast augmentation and enjoy your best body all year long. Are you ready to take that next step?

Step 1: Figure Out What You Want

Why are you thinking about breast augmentation? Do you want bigger breasts? Do you want to restore a more youthful shape after pregnancy and breastfeeding? Are you hoping for a subtle change or something more dramatic? Spend some time thinking about your ideal breasts and figure out what you want to achieve from surgery. Knowing what you want will make it easier to communicate goals and make a plan. Come to your consultation with a basic idea of what you hope to achieve.

Step 2: Come in for a Consultation

If you’re serious about breast augmentation, or just want to learn more, give us a call and schedule your consultation. You’ll meet with our friendly staff and award-winning surgeons. We’ll carefully examine your body and explain your options. We’ll also answer questions and provide personalized treatment advice and recommendations, including a 3D simulation of how your new breasts might look. You can also try on implants during the consult as well! This is a unique opportunity to really determine if breast augmentation is right for you. If you’re thinking about surgery, invest in a consultation and make the decision once and for all.

Step 3: Prepare for Surgery

After your consultation, we’ll help you schedule your surgery. We’ll work together to make important decisions about your surgery including implant type, shape, and size. We’ll discuss implant placement and incisions, and everything else needed for a successful surgery.

Step 4: Breast Augmentation Surgery

During your breast augmentation a saline or silicone implant will be placed into the breast, either on top of or behind the pectoral muscle. If needed a breast lift will be performed. The incision is closed and the area is wrapped in bandaging. Our surgeons have an excellent safety record and are well known for their stunning results.

Step 5: Recovery

After surgery comes recovery, but don’t worry, most patients find the recovery process to be quite tolerable. You’ll be able to do most of your rest and recovery from your own home. Choose a trusted friend or family member to stay with you and help with daily tasks for a few days. Most women can return to light activity in just a few days. Plan on taking about 1-2 weeks off from work. You’ll need to avoid exercise for about 6-8 weeks.

At first you’ll feel soreness and tightness in the chest area. Pain can be controlled with pain medication. You may have some bruising and swelling. Rest as much as you can, especially in the first few days after surgery. You’ll feel a little better each day until you’re fully recovered.
